Neuschwanstein Castle

The closest major city to Neuschwanstein Castle in Munich. It takes about an hour and a half to reach the castle from here. Although the castle is on the far left here it will remain a memorable trip for me in my travel endeavours. My wife and Son assisted me patiently as I contemplated this shot in a full moon night under extremely freezing temperature. I would have taken a star trail if I were alone there but due to hostile conditions, I returned back after my desired composition.

Neuschwanstein Castle is a 19th-century Romanesque Revival palace on a rugged hill above the village of Hohenschwangau near Füssen in southwest Bavaria, Germany. The palace was commissioned by Ludwig II of Bavaria as a retreat and in honour of Richard Wagner.
